Hey lovely followers! Could you please do me a huge favor? I entered The Woods Coffee photo contest and I was announced as one of the Top 10 Finalists!!! I am sooo happy right now! Happy 20th Birthday Val!!! I can’t believe we’ve had you for 19 years! You’ve been one of our best, and hard working horses, and I’m so thankful to have grown up with a great friend like you. And you share your birthday with Grandma :) Love you Bud! :)

This is a photo of my Grandpa Weidkamp from the 1950s. He was the first in our family to start showing draft horses, with a hitch of Clydesdales. My brother & I make the 3rd generation to show draft horses, and I wouldn’t trade any of my experiences with draft horses for anything in the world. I’m truly at my happiest when I’m with my horses. Thank you, Grandpa, for passing down this wonderful way of life :)

Anybody have a story about draft horses they’d like to share? Submit it, and I’ll post them on the blog. I’d love to hear about people’s experiences with them! :D

Perfect blog is perfect. I have always wanted a clydesdale but I live in the city. One day when I'm older I will adopt one and love him or her forever. For now I will stare at your lovely blog :)
